Ariba Guided Buying : PO creation in quality environment

Hi All,

I have a query.

For Guided buying, I have Dev,quality,val and Prod environment.

Currently GB is connected to Dev system. Now I want to connect GB to Quality system.

My Question:

If I create a PR how will it know to point to the quality system(PO should get created in Quality S4) instead of dev?

What setting needs to be done?

in standard without customizations you cannot be connected to two ERP systems from one Ariba realm/system.

so you point interface towards quality or dev that's it.

if needed - it is possible to purchase a DEV realm if needed for additional price from SAP

Hi thanks for your reply. I guess my question was not clear enough.

Currently Dev 1 is connected to GB, now I want to connect Dev 2 too also to GB.

What steps I need to do?

1.Create a new Project like in screenshot 1 for Dev 2?

2.Any new Endpoints, I need to add? Existing one is present (screenshot 2 ).

3.Child realm 2, should also be mentioned in the variant parameter section? (Screenshot3)

Any further steps should be carried out?

Hi, you can define multiple project/connections in CIG, point to each ERP system. And set custom routing to replace the system id with conditions. This approach has some limitation such as master data conflict across two system, PO number mix up etc.
