Ariba CIG to Informatica

Hi Experts,

We need to integrate Ariba SLP to Informatica MDM system.

Is below flow possible -->

Ariba SLP --> (BusinessPartner Replicate) CIG --> Informatica MDM System (BusinessPartner Replicate) --> SAP S4Hana (BusinessPartner Replicate Confirmation) --> CIG --> Ariba SLP

Under Basic Info of CIG I see option to connect to other middlewares/softwares.

Just want to confirm if this option is functional and can be used for our scenario.

Any documentation will helpful.

In talking with the Product Management team, the simple answer is yes that CIG accepts external connections from other middleware, as long as the data is aligned with SAP CIG supported formats. The question they had was why not SLP > CIG > S/4HC > CIG > SLP which is the standard implementation. Unclear as to whether or not Informatica is doing additional data augmentation - but regardless, yes you can do it.
