Approval workflow is sporadic on new product category

Hi

I've created a new Product Category - created in backend ECC 6 and replicated to SRM 5, allocated the gl account and entered into the org structure. However the approval workflow for a shopping cart when this prod cat is selected does not always happen and I can't find any errors.

We use cost centres allocated to the approver for the workflow. All other prod cats are working fine, it's just that when this new prod cat is selected there is no approval workflow.

Would you have any suggestions?

Hi Heidi,

check your starting conditions for workflow SWB_COND and also check if your purchasing groups are responsible for new product category.
