Alternative to FUNCTION 'BBP_OM_DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP'

for my query I need to find the purchasing group code with the User ID. I searched the net and I found, the function 'BBP_OM_DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP' but he's not working .

so I am looking for an alternative of the function if you can help me ....
