Adding Manual Approvers to the contract document

Dear All,

We configured automatic workflow for contract documents.

Let us say for a document, there are 4 approvers which will be determined automatically for a document.

If manual approvers added to the document, the work item is going to manual approver every time after the auto approver approved the document.

please let us know how to prevent this ie workitem should go to the manual approver only once.

Do we have method to add vendor contacts as an approver using XPDL Workflow.
