Adding Company code on ABAP Webdynpro Screen in Limit Shopping Cart in SRM 7.0

Hello Experts,

I have a requirement, where I need to add Company code at item level in  Limit Shopping carts in SRM 7.0

As I am very new to SRM. please let me know whether just adding the custom field will achieve cross-buying similar to free text shoopping cart?
