Add supplier in Default Settings of Shopping Cart

Hi SAP gurus,

We are on SRM 7.02 with classic scenario and would like to add in the default settings the supplier.

we have added a entry "vendor_no" in:

> SRM Server> Cross-App Basic Settings> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization)> Configure Field Control> Configure Control for Fields on Item Level> Metadata for Fields on Item Level

but it does not appear in the default settings.

please can anyone give some tips how to achieve this?
