Add a custom field both in shopping cart and backend R/3 of PO or PR

Hi Gurus,

We have a requirement to add a custom field in shopping cart as well as in the backend R/3 so once we create a shopping cart and if we populate custom field then it should carried to custom field of the created PR or PO (backend).

We have added the custom field in shopping cart and in backend R/3 (the field is getting updated when we create a PR or PO manually in backend R/3)

Our question is how to map the custom field in shopping cart to backend custom field. We have tried using BADI - BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW and BBP_CREATE_BE_RQ_NEW but not sure should this BADI cater our requirement.

Please help and guide us on this...
