About services replication

Hello experts,

I am trying to replicate the service master from the erp system to SRM using the Tcode MDS_LOAD_Cockpit.

The data can not be replicated and the following error message is generated :

"Data cannot be maintained for set type COMM_PR_UNIT"

We did notice that if we create a service without a valuation class the synchronization is being held correctly but if we create the service with the valuation class we get the error mentionned above.

PS :

- The SRM is implemented as an add-on in the system

- We did maintain the hiearchy in the COMM_PRAPPLCAT code.

I'll be grateful for any type of help.

Hi,

for Service Master you need to define a service related hierarchy. In COMM_PRAPPLCAT you assign Application "Product" to a Hierarchy (e.g. R3PRODSTYP). In COMM_HIERARCHY you can specify the different combinations of Service Category (Prefix "SRV_" and the ECC Service Category) and the link to the hierarchy.

Please refer to the SAP Help Portal. If you assign the Set Types COMM_PR_UNIT etc. on level SRV_ the replication should work.

I did check the Trx comm_hierarchy, the set types does exist but unfortunately the problem presist.

I would be grateful if you give me more guidance in this issue?

Please go to trx comm_hierarchy and check the corresponding category assigned to this product. In setTypes tab, the set types such as COMM_PR_UNIT should be maintained:
