A question about shopping cart status of completed

I want to know how to get a SC to be the status of "Completed"?

Our system status is:

(1) SRM7.0

(2) there is no GR, all the purchases are general purchases

Is it all the invoices created for the PO makes SC to be completed?

Or is it all the invoices created for the PO and all of them are payed makes SC to be completed?

I am really appreciated if anyone could share the knowledge. Thank you.

Hi,

For completed SC, it means that Final_entry indicator will be set as 'X' after confirmation is created.

If no confirmation is required, then after PO is generated from this SC, final_entry will be set as 'X' which means SC is completed.

You can find such SC in POWL with indicator "including completed shopping carts".

But in our system, the situation seems different.

I create a PO from a SC, and successfully ordered this PO, but I still can find this SC via Advanced Search without indicator "including completed shopping carts".

I am very confused about the logic. Could you explain it?

Hi,

Would you please check if final_entry is set as 'X' for both PO and SC with t-code bbp_pd?

If not, this cart won't be regarded as completed one.

Hi,

For limit SC, if you only set invoice-only indicator in SC, then after PO is generated, final_entry should be set as X for PO automatically. At this time, SC is completed.

For normal SC, if GR_IND is not set, you have to manually click final_entry indicator(No further confirmation to Yes) in PO. After this, SC will be considered as completed one.

According to your answer, I have done some test in our system, but it's not like your said.

The result is:

For limit SC or normal SC without GR_IND, I manually set "No further confirmation" to "Yes" in PO when I transferring a SC to PO.

After PO creation, in bbp_pd, I saw PO's final_entry was set to X, according to your answer it means SC is completed, but I still can find the SC via Advanced Search without indicator "including completed shopping carts".  Why?

Would you please try to search such SC in POWL instead of advanced search?

I suggest raising an incident if limit SC also has such issue.

I think our EBP system has some problems because whatever I did for a SC, I cannot make it be completed.

I created PO for a SC and then created all invoices for the PO, the SC just stays uncompleted.

I will raise an incident if needed.

Complete SC has nothing to do with invoice.

It would be better to raise an incident since the issue is complex now.

Sorry for late reply.

i was on travel.

The process of SC is done when Confirmation of all items is done for the particular SC and posted successfully in backend.

and when this is done SC becomes invisible from POWL.

You can view this SC only by checking the include completed SC checkbox from the query.

when the Po is created the status is Follow on doc created and it still shows in the list of the SC in POWL . However when the PO 's invoice has been done and then SC would become invisible from the list and to display you need to check the option " Include completed SC " in POWL .

if the SC is completed then it will be visible in POWL only if  indicator "including completed shopping carts" is checked and

if the indicator is not checked then it won't be visible.

but from advance search you can still open the SC which is in completed state because the SC which is created by a particular user can be opened by that user in any state.

it becomes invisible from POWL after completion only because the proceess of the SC is done.
