What's new for SAP Busines Network Commerce Automation customers in the Q1 2023 release?
The list below is not exhaustive of all the great features released in March 2023, but a few highlights that would be of interest particularly to buyer customers of SAP Business Network Commerce Automation:
Continuous Test Environment Support for External Invoices (NG-5332)
What is it?
SAP Business Network now provides a better solution to route and assign the external tax invoices to the production and test accounts across all inbound channels. Previously customers can only use their tax ID in their product OR test account. Now, tax IDs can be configured once in the product account and the test account will also be able to use the same tax ID
Why is it important?
This feature makes testing a lot more efficient for buyers and suppliers. Invoices coming from a supplier's test account are routed to the buyer's test account. Similarly, an invoice coming from a supplier's production account are routed to the buyer's production account
How can you start using it?
This feature is automatically on, and can be used once the buyer has the tax ID configured in the SAP Business Network buyer account.
Dun & Bradstreet Integration (NS-18198)
What is it?
This feature integrates Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) information into the registration service as well as the Marketing Profile so that a user can look for their respective company/business and fetch the necessary details during registration.
Why is it important?
This integration registration process with autofill capabilities. It ensures that correct and credible information is maintained in SAP Business Network profile. This in turn also helps buyers find the right trading partner from a long list of comparable user accounts.
How can you start using it?
This feature is automatically on and will work for any trading partner with their company already registered with D&B and has a valid D-U-N-S number.
ISO Certificates Filter in Search Results (NS-21011)
What is it?
This feature enables customers to apply ISO Certificates filter in trading partner search results. Suppliers can now configure information regarding ISO certifications held by their organization under the company profile. Customers can navigate to the ISO Certifications field to apply the ISO Certificates filter.
Why is it important?
This feature improves search results to filter based on certifications relevant to your business.
How can you start using it?
This feature is automatically on. Customers can navigate to the ISO Certifications field to apply the ISO Certificates filter within trading partner search.
