With the SAP Ariba 2108 release, planned on August 20th, SAP is launching a new breakthrough feature for suppliers on Ariba Network: SAP Supplier Financing. Below is a short summary of what network suppliers need to know about this new functionality.

As always, the full general availability (GA) release scope for Ariba Network (including above mentioned features) will be communicated via the release readiness notification (to subscribe: see FAQ) and the Release Readiness page on Ariba Connect three weeks before release.

If you are a supplier, ask yourself these questions:

  1. Do you want improve your cash flow with flexible working capital solutions at competitive rates?

  2. Do you want to have access to 100% online borrowing, without headaches of paper applications, etc.?

  3. Do you want to have visibility and transparency throughout the process, by easily accessing status and options on SAP Ariba Network?

  4. Do you manage between $500K-900M of spend on SAP Ariba Network?

If you answered YES to all of them, then you are in the right place!

By leveraging SAP Supplier Financing, SMB Suppliers on SAP Ariba Network are now enabled to finance their receivables through one of our financial partners, and so have a way to access working capital without waiting for payment term cycles to complete. The process is entirely online and as simple as a few clicks:

  1. Supplier clicks ‘Get Offers’ on the SAP Supplier Financing widget

  2. Supplier enters annual revenue and pre-qualified offers are generated

  3. Supplier selects an offer and accepts terms and conditions

  4. The financial partner will contact the supplier

The feature is self-service and fully embedded in SAP Ariba Network. You will receive pre-qualified offers from multiple financial partners and you can then secure the right financial solution at the preferred payment terms, every time you need it.

Of course, there are no SAP subscription or implementation costs for start using this feature.

NOTE: this functionality is currently only available to Suppliers in the United States of America. We are currently working on exploring other countries ... stay tuned!

Last but not least, if you are a Buyer, make sure you position this to your Suppliers as a zero-cost benefit to join SAP Ariba Network.

I really encourage you to give it a try!

Feel free to share feedback or ask any questions in case you want to learn more about this feature.
