Hello SAP Ariba community!

We're excited to unveil the innovative features included in SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance as well as Supplier Risk for the upcoming 2411 release. These enhancements are designed to further streamline your supplier management processes and risk assessment capabilities. Let's dive into the details of these new functionalities!

Intelligent Recommendations Based on Supplier Risk Score

SAP Ariba Supplier Risk now provides intelligent recommendations for suppliers experiencing significant changes in their risk scores. This feature ensures that buyers are proactively alerted to potential risks, enabling timely action to mitigate these risks.

The "Recommendation" section on the dashboard lists these suppliers, allowing buyers to create findings or ignore based on the intelligent analysis provided. A new "Recommendation" section has been added to the SAP Ariba Supplier Risk dashboard. Pop-ups detailing the percentage change in risk score and action options (create finding/ignore) are now available for each recommended supplier.

Self-Assessed Questionnaire Assessment Notification To All Relevant Suppliers

Buyers can now send Self-Assessed Questionnaires to both registered and non-registered suppliers in SAP Business Network, ensuring comprehensive participation and data collection. Suppliers receive an email invitation with a direct link to the questionnaire, facilitating quick and easy completion. The Engagement request page now includes a "Supplier type" filter (All, SBN, Non SBN) for differentiating suppliers based on their registration status in SAP Business Network.

SAP Business Network Certificate Information in the Supplier Profile Summary

This feature provides added visibility into supplier-related certificates maintained in SAP Business Network profiles. These certificates are shown in a new “Business Network Certificates” panel, providing additional data points for supplier assessments. Clicking the panel opens the supplier's SAP Business Network profile in a new tab, displaying certificate details.

Custom Risk Categories in the Supplier Profile Summary

The inclusion of custom risk categories in supplier profile summaries allows organizations to consider risk factors unique to their requirements. The supplier profile summary now include exposure information for the top four custom categories, providing a more tailored view of supplier risk exposure. Support is available for up to 25 custom risk categories, and the top four categories by weight (or alphabetically if weights are equal) are now displayed in the Risk Exposure area of the profile summary banner.

Ability to Save Internal Supplier Registration Forms as Draft

Users now have the option to save their progress on internal supplier registration questionnaires, allowing them to return and complete the form at their convenience without losing data. This feature simplifies the process, reducing the likelihood of incomplete submissions. A new "SAVE" option on internal forms enables users to save all answers as drafts.

These exciting features are aimed at enhancing supplier management, improving risk detection, and providing more visibility into supplier credentials. We encourage you to explore these new enhancements and integrate them into your workflows for maximum benefit. Stay tuned for more updates and insightful blogs.
