SRM User Interface Add-On provides control to the users where in they can configure or modify the UI based on their requirements. There are some of the configuration settings mentioned below that influences the visibility of the UI.
Users can maintain custom tool tips for the navigation tabs like Search , Can’t Find etc.These texts appear on hovering over the navigation tab providing additional information to the user.Users can create new OTR’s or can choose an already existing OTR for the tooltip.
Please follow the below steps to create the custom tooltip for the navigation tabs.
1. Enter transaction SPRO
2. Go to SAP Implementation Guide ->SAP Supplier Relationship Management ->SRM User Interface Add On ->Extension and Field Controls ->Maintain Additional texts for Navigation Paths
3. Enter the OTR in Additional text column for each of the View keys given below:

In the My Catalogs navigation tab , the user can see all the punch out catalogs that are configured for his user. Following are the configuration that can be done from the user side.
• Users can categorize the catalogs under different sections
• Users can control the visibility of the catalogs
• User can maintain image for the catalog
Following are the steps to maintain the image for the catalog.
1. Enter transaction SPRO.
2. Go to SAP Implementation Guide ->SAP Supplier Relationship Management ->SRM User Interface Add On ->Master Data ->Define External Web Services
Here all the catalogs maintained for the user will be displayed, double-click on any of the catalog.
3. Click on edit and maintain the image URL or MIME path for the catalog and click on save.
The images maintained here will be displayed against the catalog in the UI.
Please follow the below steps to group the Catalogs under different sections.
Go to SAP Implementation Guide ->SAP Supplier Relationship Management ->SRM User Interface Add On ->Master Data ->Define Categories for Product Catalog
In this setting, users can maintain categories to group catalogs so that they are displayed together under sections for better usability.
1.Click on New Entries.
2. Enter the Catalog Category ID and the Description and click on Save.
This will create new section and now the catalogs can be grouped under these sections.
Please follow the below step to group the catalogs under different sections.
1. Enter transaction SPRO
2. Go to SAP Implementation Guide ->SAP Supplier Relationship Management ->SRM User Interface Add On ->Master Data ->Define Additional Attributes for Product Catalog Categories
3. Select the web service from drop down list and map to a catalog category.
4. Don’t Show: Select the check box, if you do not want to show in Catalogs tab.
5. OCI Extr: Select the check-box, if you want to extract data of this catalog using catalog data extraction.
This would map the catalog to the desired catalog category and the catalog will be displayed under that category in the UI.
When the user click on review cart, a service is triggered to fetch the Approver Name. If the user wants to improve the performance this service can be disabled.
Please follow the below steps to disable the Approver service.
1. Enter transaction SPRO
2. Go to SAP Implementation Guide ->SAP Supplier Relationship Management ->SRM User Interface Add On ->Control Advanced Features
3. Select “Display Approver Name/Multiple Approvers in Header Section”, if you want to show approver name in Review Cart Header section.
4. Deselect “Display Approver Name/Multiple Approvers in Header Section”, if you want to improve performance by disabling the relevant service and not showing approver name in Review Cart Header section. You can still see approver details by clicking on the link “Approval details

Note : Please clear the smicm and the browser cache before launching the application for the changes to appear in the UI.
To clear the "SMICM' cache open the transaction “SMICM”, in the tab section ”Goto”. In the dropdown “HTTP Server Cache” - >Invalidate -> Global in System -> Click on Yes.
