As a follow-up to my earlier posting related to the SAP Procurement 2111 Release, I thought it was worth sharing some additional insights following go-live over the weekend of November 12-14!

Focus on guided sourcing

I as well as the rest of the SAP Procurement team are genuinely excited by the new capabilities delivered in guided sourcing with this release.  So much so that recorded demonstrations of side-by-side comparisons of the Classic Sourcing interface to guided sourcing have been delivered.  Check out the links below for quick comparisons where I am certain you too will see the advancement in efficiency and simplicity on display!

Build your knowledge

During the Early Release Series webcasts for the 2111 release it became apparent that a quick refresher on the resources available to customers and partners that detail our new innovations was in order.

The best one-stop shop with all links to the release content is found in the Release Readiness area of SAP Ariba Connect.  Here you will find:

    • Full feature listings and related resource materials (screen shots, demonstrations, documentation links - screen shown below)

    • Access to quarterly webcast archives where recordings and presentations are available

    • Schedule for current and future releases

QUICK TIP: Seeking product documentation on a specific feature?

The code that appears after the innovation name in brackets (ex. [BMA-2329]) can be typed in the search window of help.sap.com and direct access to the feature support documentation is presented.
