Many organizations treat quality management as a highly technical, detail-oriented subspecialty – one that is set apart from the main business mostly to meet compliance requirements.

But quality management is at the heart of the customer experience – which makes it of primary interest to brand management teams everywhere. The second quality challenge is having the ability to monitor and record key events as materials move through the supply chain. If problems with a product are detected, this data can be a good starting point for identifying the source of the problem.
