I would like to continue the discussion on SAP Business Network release 2405. It offers another excellent feature that direct materials buyers and suppliers have requested: the ability to sort planning records by projected stock status. Applicable to buyers and suppliers using SAP Business Network Planning Collaboration or the inventory add-on for SAP Business Network Supply Chain Collaboration, this feature helps suppliers performing supplier-driven replenishment to focus on the most critical customer location products, where stock is projected to fall below the minimum required level within a particular time horizon.
With this feature, both suppliers and buyers can create Excel upload/download jobs for inventory and replenishment process types. Planning records are listed in order of how critical their projected stock situation is for future time buckets, with out of stock listed first, followed by below minimum, then above maximum, then on track.
As shown in the image below, a checkbox with the label “Sort by projected stock status” now appears on the upload/download job page when a supplier or buyer user creates an inventory job. Please check this in order to ensure the Excel file displays the records in order of priority.

This feature will help increase speed and efficiency for the supplier users in their day-to-day work by helping them identify more quickly the planning records which need to be addressed first.
