Ability to Mass Inactivate Questionnaire Data for Multiple Suppliers at a Time [SLP-1866]

Previously, SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Management allowed buyers to purge the questionnaire data of only a single supplier at a time. Now, buyers can mass-inactivate older questionnaire versions or the complete questionnaire project for multiple suppliers at a time by importing a CSV file.

Also, prior to this enhancement, for questionnaire data to be purged, the supplier first had to be inactivated and expired. Buyers couldn't selectively inactivate older questionnaire versions or the complete questionnaire project for multiple suppliers at a time. This feature is applicable to standalone questionnaires and to questionnaires used in process qualification projects. After you import the CSV file, all previous versions of questionnaires that are marked for inactivation in the CSV file are inactivated.  You can also inactivate the entire questionnaire project depending on your what you mark as "True" in the file.

In today's business environment, managing large amounts of supplier data efficiently is important. We understand that data can quickly accumulate, leading to clutter and inefficiencies. This new feature empowers users to take control of outdated questionnaire responses, ensuring cleaner and more manageable databases.

  • Selective Data Purging: Users now have the flexibility to select specific questionnaire data to purge. This means older responses from multiple suppliers can be removed, freeing up space and eliminating unwanted versions. By focusing on relevance and timeliness of data, organizations can make room for what's truly important.
  • Enhanced Data Management: Removing unnecessary data versions not only declutters your database but also enhances the overall data management process within SAP Ariba. With cleaner data, businesses can ensure better data quality, improve decision-making processes, and drive more informed strategies.
  • Compliance and Security: Purging inactivated data also addresses compliance and security concerns. With outdated data removed, companies can mitigate risks associated with storing unnecessary information, aligning more closely with data protection policies and regulations.

Ability to Purge Inactivated Modular Questionnaire Data [SLP-2207]

In our 2505 release, we've added a highly requested feature that allows you to purge older questionnaire responses for multiple suppliers at one time. Here are some reasons why this is important:

  • Declutter your database: Over time, your supplier database can become clogged with outdated questionnaire responses. This feature helps you remove unwanted versions, keeping your data clean and relevant.
  • Save time and effort: Instead of manually deleting old responses one by one, you can now select and purge data for multiple suppliers at once. It's quick, easy, and efficient.
  • Maintain data privacy and compliance: Regularly purging old data helps you adhere to data protection regulations and minimizes risks. It's a simple way to ensure you're only storing relevant, up-to-date information.

This feature is just one of the many ways we're continually improving SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Management to meet your evolving needs.
