Have you heard Rates 2.0 has been released, and that it’s made faster and simpler than ever to create and work with rates? No?
Allow me to tell you: Rates 2.0 is here, trending, and with exciting updates in the latest release. The enhancements were designed to streamline processes and improve efficiency for users managing statements of work (SOW) and service contracts.
Let's dive into the four key updates:
- SOW Worker Role Custom Lookup: The new feature lets you see the value [ALL] for the SOW Worker Role Site Code value key. This means you can now associate site codes in bulk that are valid for a specific SOW worker role and supplier combination, simplifying the management of site structures.
- External Contract ID as Key for Rates Lookup: For those using the Contracts feature for Services, the 'External Contract ID' field is now available as a lookup key in the Rate and Rate Component custom lookups. This enhancement provides a more efficient way to manage service contracts by leveraging existing contract identifiers.
- Improved SOW Worker Rate Management: The Effective Date feature now integrates with the Rates 2.0 rate structure, allowing users to determine all relevant rate values for the entire SOW period using the rate Valid On dates. This improvement ensures accurate rate management throughout the duration of a project.
- Configuration Validation Disabled for Rates 2.0
Companies: Rates 2.0 can now be enabled for new or existing companies without the need for ‘Use Rate Grid for SOW Workers’ company configuration enablement. This change simplifies the setup process, making it easier for companies to adopt the latest rate management features.
