Let me introduce myself, my name is Muhamed Sabic and I am part of the Solution Value Advisory Team for EMEA/MEE. I have recently been trained in Guided Sourcing and wanted to share my learning experience with you!
As I set off on my mission to learn about Guided Sourcing, how to set up and use the solution I started by reviewing the Guided Sourcing Transition Toolkit. Here I gathered some great insights on what’s new, the enhanced features, as well as how these changes will impact various stakeholders. The toolkit is excellent, it provided clear documentation with videos that explain to users how to enable Guided Sourcing, review templates, and activate the newly integrated AI technologies.
After having gained some background knowledge about the solution I was ready to get hands on and start testing. To help me with this I navigated to the Spend Management and Business Network Value Map where I found a neatly structured training plan. I was provided with a combination of reading material, demos and step by step guides which helped me create multiple sourcing events using various rules and event types.
I further educated myself on Guided Sourcing and the end-to-end process including creating a sourcing project, publishing events and the award procedure by reviewing the Guided Sourcing End-to-End Demo, where all the above steps are covered in detail.
