S/4 HANA DATABASE - SYSTEM USER - Best practices says to deactivate SYSTEM ID
Wanted to Understand how many application Owners after installing HANA DB using SYSTEM ID are deactivating it. Or is it being used as a shared account by Basis Team? IS it being logged and monitored if its active.
As the most powerful database user, SYSTEM is not intended for use in production systems. Use it to create lesser privileged users for particular purposes and then deactivate it.

Hello,
it depends on your business scenario. this is the same discussion like with SAP* user in 000 client. System user is only used for maintenance tasks (update e.g.) , for regular tasks you can create dedicated user for your admins with necessary roles (copy system user e.g. )
