DESCRIPTION:
IT Architecture Management is critical to an organization’s success. System implementations, upgrades and updates, system design, IT acquisitions and retirements, audits, budgeting, and disaster recovery planning all rely on comprehensive cataloging of not only the IT assets and their attributes, but also their interdependencies and criticality.
This Academic Lesson features SAP LeanIX, an enterprise architecture management (EAM) solution, to automate and expedite cataloging company IT assets. The Learning Journey for this Academic Lesson contains demonstrations and simulations of SAP LeanIX capabilities and provides a demo system for students to explore. Students will complete the steps of various activities in a simulated mode within the Learning Journey. They will also complete practice exercises within the demo system as part of this Academic Lesson.
