DESCRIPTION:

This Academic Lesson explains how citizen developers can improve efficiency and streamline processes with low-code/no-code solutions, specifically SAP Build. Students are introduced to app building, process automation, and web development that provides an organization’s users with centralized access to productivity assets that make their work more efficient. The importance of governance “guard rails” for citizen developers is also introduced in this Academic Lesson.

Activity 1 of this Academic Lesson utilizes simulated activities in SAP Build to walk students through the steps of app building, process automation, and web development. The simulations prompt the students to make the appropriate entries into the system to complete various tasks in SAP Build. Activity 2 explains the steps for SAP Build Apps in more detail so that students can build their own app. At the end of this Academic Lesson, the students will access a live SAP Build practice system to develop a personal health app.
