DESCRIPTION:
Human resource (HR) professionals are responsible for recruiting and staffing employees, employee compensation and benefits, employee relations, employee training and development, and compliance with local HR regulations. At the same time, they need to optimally manage human capital to help the organization meet its strategic goals. HR responsibilities can be complex and difficult to manage. SAP SuccessFactors assists HR professionals in all types of organizations to manage their duties and meet their goals.
This Academic Lesson introduces students to the technologies, specifically the SAP SuccessFactors capabilities, that enable employees and employers to process and track employment activities effectively. It will provide the students with a means of comparing the theory that they learn in class with the actual day-to-day processes that are part of human capital management and HR functions.
SUGGESTED AREAS OF STUDY:
Business - all majors and especially Management majors, Health Care Management, Public Administration, and other areas of study that teach employment and other human capital management topics. Appropriate for students at undergraduate and graduate level university, community college, and trade school.
