DESCRIPTION:
This Academic Lesson explains how accounting-related business transactions are processed, managed, and reported in an ERP system, specifically SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Students will experience management of an organization’s accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting functions and observe the full financial accounting cycle from data entry of transactions to close of the accounting period to form the financial statements.
SUGGESTED AREAS OF STUDY:
Business (all majors), Information Systems, and other areas of study teaching basic business accounting or ERP systems knowledge. Appropriate for students at undergraduate and graduate level university, community college, trade school, and upper-level secondary school.
