DESCRIPTION:
This Academic Lesson introduces students to analytics required for decision making. Although the example in the lesson is one of a business operation, the same processes and theory may be applied to just about any area of interest requiring data analysis. “Business” in the context of this document may be construed as the operations of the organization whether it be selling products or formulating chemical compounds or something else. The first activity of the lesson is an overview of the capabilities of SAP Analytics Cloud and the second activity dives deeply into the creation and population of models used in data analysis.
SUGGESTED AREAS OF STUDY:
Business (all majors), Information Systems, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Medicine, Journalism, and other areas of study requiring analysis and visualization of data. Appropriate for students at undergraduate and graduate level university, community college, and trade school.
