hi

1.with reference to SAP certification, could any body clarify me what is SAP TECHED-08, Which is going to take place in bangalore in nov'08.

2.Can this be taken as alternative for certification exam being conducted at SEEIMENS & GENOVATE.

3.What is the course fee, if i take certification exam at seimens or genovate.

4.I have 1and half years of experience as FICO consutant..do i get any concession if my employer sponsors me.

Hi,

1. TechEd is an event held for professional networking, Knowledge sharing and showcasing new functionalities and possibilities in SAP. Summing it up, TechEd is a SAP Knowledge sharing fiesta for 3 dayz although you might find it much more technicaly oriented.

2. Yes, this is an alternative for certification exam being conducted at SEIMENS & GENOVATE but this happens only once in an year and there are conditions to qualify for it. Research and read other threads in this forum, u sure will become a guru abt techEd.

3. Last few years this was the case :

Once you registered with teched by paying the full amount then you have to pay INR 5,500/- separately for certification exam. It means the total will be INR 16,500/+5,500/

but this tend to change every year depending on the offerings.

4. July end might be able to clear this as the qualification terms would be released then for TechEd B'lore. keep track of http://www.sapteched.com/india/home.htm

I have exp of one and half-my employer willing to sponsor me-whom do i approach for payment of fees to get slot and date.i do not want to wait till nov-for teched-08

As I had replied in my previous post:

July end might be able to clear this as the qualification terms would be released then for TechEd B'lore. Then only the registerations will open and after checking the eligibility terms you can register for teched.
