We work for a company who is an SAP Customer based in US and has a Branch in India.
We support and develop various applications for the same SAP server from India.
As per SAP the eligibility to take up certification in SAPTechED Bangalore 2006 is.
Eligibility
You must be:
1)A fully paid SAP TechEd '06 Bangalore conference registrant as on October 20, 2006; AND
2)A registered SAP consultant (SAP employee, partner, or independent) in India; OR
3)An SAP Customer Core Competency Center team member in India; OR
4)An employee of an SAP partner or customer in India.
I hope we meet the third criteria.

Sreecharan,
Are you sure that this is the reason for rejection ? there are some additional eligibility criteria as well - like number of years of experience and time you have been with the current employer.
Arun
P.S SAP Labs is not involved in the registration process - it is an event management concern that manages the process and SAP would be involved only in the validation. - It would be best if you can call them up and enquire for faster responses.
