Is SAP certification available only through Tech Ed?

Hi,

Can one give SAP certification anytime during the year or is it only available through Tech ed from this year onwards? I had heard that from this year one can only give certification by registering through Tech ed, so just wanted to confirm if its true?

I dont think what you have heard is true.

Nothing of that sort has been mentioned of the offical website.

The advantage at TechEd is that certifications are being offered at a significantly reduced cost to SAP TechEd Full Conference registrants.

Thanks for the reply. Can u please tell me if the exams are conducted every 3 months (is thr some specific schedule) or it can be given at anytime? And how many months in advance do i have to register for the same? I am interested in PI certification

Hi,

Certification exams are offered throughout the year. However, any discount associated with the certification's are applicable for TechEd only.
