I know it might be late for it, still.
I would like to register for community day, only (no TechEd for me). I sent an email to the the mail-id mentioned in the wiki page (andre at ...) but haven't heard back.
I 'think' I had more than 1k points during the relevant period but didn't get any mail offering me free entry to the community day - not sure how that worked.
In any case if there is someone in the know of the situation -
- Is the registration still open?
- How to go about it? I can shell 250USD, but would be silly doing so if I am entitled to a free entry.
I hope I do not have to gate-crash!
BTW It looks little strange there if you are only for community day and your name is not Bruce Sterling (feels like the stingy uncle who wouldn't pay for TechEd - while almost everyone else is there for the whole deal) - I know, I was there last year.
Plan B is to write longwinding cribbing posts here provoking Marilyn and Craig and everyone else and getting their Passes for the event in return for just shutting up. Much as I like that to be Plan A - in deference to the suffering folks here I desist, at least for now....

Hi Ajay,
Thanks for asking. We realized that the email address is wrong. The right one is:
andrea@webeventsglobal.com for Las Vegas
christian@dms.co.uk for Munich
Andrea has been informed and will get in contact with you. Sorry for the confusion.
Looking forward to see you at the Community Day, Mark.

I am sleeping at the wheel. Ajay you should have gotten an invitation for a free community day pass if you had over 1000 points last year.
We will send you a code and a link to register, Mark.

Hi Ajay,
By the way, one of the reasons that we have the extra day and try to keep the price reasonable is so that people can pay their own way.
Last year we had 10 people just going to the community day, so don't feel like and outcast.
See you there, Mark.

Thanks Mark,
About the 10 last year - I was one of them
Will see you there...

Ajay

Don't know if there are any plans for this time...Mark did ask the community, but not many replied. Last time at the Hof place was good...more than the place I think, all the people I spent the evening with

Hi Bhanu,
We are binging the amazing Boom Chicago show: Me, Myspace, iPod and I to the Mandalay Bay. It was an amazing show last year in Amsterdam and we liked it so much, that we want to share the fun with our American community too.
Will post about it soon, Mark.
