Let's take a stroll down memory lane, shall we? SAP TechEd has been with us for a long time. It's part of our DNA. It's the fabric of our community. We started small: 1 event, 1 location. Then we expanded a bit: 1 event, 3 locations. Then came the pandemic (sigh), and changing times called for changing strategies. We went completely virtual: global, accessible, flexible. We met our audience where they were. Then came (yet another) shift in the paradigm – in-person events came back, but we still wanted to reach as many SAP fans as possible, so we created 2 events: in-person and virtual. Whew…that’s a lotta change!

SAP TechEd goes Hybrid
This year, we are combining the best of both worlds and launching our brand-new hybrid experience for SAP TechEd in 2025. What exactly does that mean, you may ask?
It means that a full-fledged, in-person, old school SAP TechEd is back – taking place in Berlin November 4–6 at the Messe Berlin. Yep, you read that correctly. We couldn’t be more excited! So, what exactly can you expect? You name it – Strategy Talks, Road Map sessions, Deep Dives, Hands-on Workshops, Demo Stations and a full-blown Community Clubhouse with fan favorites like the Developer Garage and the Community Theater. Berlin is your place to connect with SAP experts, the Developer Advocates and each other IN THE FLESH! TechEd fans rejoice! No more, "Sorry, I was muted" or "Oops, could you repeat that, my connection is a bit wonky today." We’re talking real people, in a real place, with a real goal – learning and networking. To quote one of our mentors, TechEd Berlin promises to be "an SAP Community family reunion."
What about “hybrid”? How do the rest of us get in on the fun?
Let me explain. We'll be LIVE streaming select sessions from Berlin for our live virtual show. The sessions will be recorded and available on-demand as well. Real Berlin sessions – live or on-demand. AND we'll have a hybrid Q&A experience - meaning our experts will be taking questions from both our live and virtual audiences. Make sense? Wait – it gets better. We'll also have exclusive virtual segments hosted from our LIVE STUDIO right in the middle of the action on the SAP TechEd show floor in Berlin.
