The future of ERP is now. While SAP TechEd has sessions about new user experience innovations such as My Home, Microsoft Teams integration in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Mobile Start, and what ERP might look like in 2030, better experience is available today whether you are on ECC or SAP S/4HANA. I’m excited to co-present with Sebastian Dahlmann from Dr. Schumacher on how to “Integrate Rich Graphics from SAP Analytics Cloud into Classic ERP Screens.” If you join us, you will see what’s possible today on ECC, as you are planning your move to SAP S/4HANA.

The sales reps at Dr. Schumacher, a German manufacturer of hygiene and disinfection products, wanted a single dashboard from which they could access all the enterprise systems they need to manage their accounts.

The solution is nothing short of amazing. Sebastian Dahlmann and his colleagues transformed their classic ERP screens into rich, interactive screens that empower the sales reps, who want to focus on selling and not spending time on data entry and retrieval.

The key components of the new system are SAP Analytics Cloud, which provides the visualizations, and SAP Screen Personas, which displays the information from the core ERP system in a new and refreshing way. SAP Analytics Cloud runs on SAP Business Technology Platform. SAP Screen Personas is an add-on to the back end ERP system.

In the session, we will cover:

  • Dr. Schumacher requirements for sales reps to have 360-degree view of their customers
  • Demo of the integrated solution
  • How to Integrate interactive SAP Analytics Cloud visualizations into ERP screens, including links to online resources and sample code for creating an integrated solution with SAP content
