Did you know that SAP provides software solutions in 39 languages to a customer base in 140 different countries? But this is not where the international deployment of SAP solutions stops. Customers develop additional functionality, and software partners create add-ons, which should fit seamlessly into this multilingual SAP environment. Or international rollouts need customer-specific material in multiple local languages. Which leads to the question: how to find the best solution for language and translation requirements. Well-qualified resources with dedicated SAP knowledge as well as language expertise can be difficult to find.
SAP offers the SAP ecosystem a solution for this conundrum with the SAP Language Service Partner category under the PartnerEdge program.
SAP Language Service Partners provide linguistic services and/or language consultancy services relating to SAP’s proprietary translation environment, some will know as transaction SE63, but it includes much more functionality and options than only this transaction.
All SAP Language Service Partners have been validated as experts in the SAP translation environment and tools and can act as a trusted partner to support multilingual projects. Many SAP customers have already experienced how cooperation with SAP Language Service Partners helped to increase their ROI and enhance end user acceptance in international rollouts.
