What is SAP level 1 certificate.

Hello,

I am new to SAP, I got sms marketing message today regarding the SAP level 1 certificate. I really want to know what is that. Kindly help out and guide how i can start my career in SAP. I live in Karachi Pakistan. Guide me as per my country and city.

The SAP Academy covers levels 1-3 and Certification:

• Introduction and Overview
• Level 1 – Solution Overview
• Level 2 – Business Process and Function
• Level 3 – Functions and System Configuration

There are 3 levels of certifications available from the SAP

1. Associate Level
2. Professional Level and
3. Master Level

Associate: Associate level covers the fundamental knowledge requirements for a consultant or project team member. This certification covers the fundamental knowledge requirements for an SAP consultant ensuring the successful acquisition of broad SAP solution knowledge and skills.

Professional: Professional level requires proven project experience, business knowledge and a more detailed understanding of the SAP solution. This advanced certification requires proven project experience, business process knowledge, and a more detailed understanding of SAP solutions.

Master: Masters Level (in development) involves demonstrating an expert level understanding a specific area of SAP software. This certification, under development, involves demonstrating an expert-level understanding of a specific area of SAP software and the ability to drive innovation and solution optimization through in-depth knowledge and vision. Certification at this level requires broad project experience, comprehensive SAP product knowledge, and the ability to create a future IT vision within complex project environments.

The Associate level exams test book knowledge. In most cases, this level does not require SAP implementation experience in order to pass the exams. Questions on the Professional level exams are designed to test the SAP experience of the test taker.  SAP takes care to point out that you don’t need to pass the Associate level exam before sitting for the Professional level exam. So you get to select which level you think you are qualified for and take that exam.

I've never heard of it myself. Did you reply to the sms?

In SAP there are two levels of certification: Associate and Professional.

Hmmm perhaps send a SMS response asking what is a level 1 certificate? Certificates are Associate, and Professional... more info here https://training.sap.com/us/en/training-options/certification

Unfortunately SAP does not have any testing centres in Pakistan, but you can take SAP exams through our partner Pearson Vue which has testing centres in Karachi and Islamabad.
