What happens to a certificate after the exam retires?

Hi Folks,

Hope everyone's doing well. I had a quick question regarding certification. I will be appearing for chanatec_13 which is for hana2.0 sp00. The exam will expire on 12/31/2018. So, what will happen to my certificate(keeping fingers crossed) after 12/31/2018? Will it become invalid or I can still retain it? I tried searching up in FAQ's section, but couldn't come to a solid conclusion. Y'all have a great day ahead!!

I believe there is a one year grace period after the expiration date as shown here: https://training.sap.com/certification/validity in the

Retired Certifications (within 'grace period')

section. However, I would recommend you download your certificate from Credential Manager and store it for your own records.
