Trainee SAP SCM

Hi all,

I have graduated from a UK university (in summer 2006) and have been working for a SAP Business One (the SME market) partner ever since, having done 4 implementations already, two of them on warehouse management. I would really like to go into SAP SCM or ERP. I understand that the architecture of SAP Business One and SAP ERP are completely two different worlds, but I am willing to go as a trainee or a junior. I would be very grateful if someone could advise me if there are any companies, anywhere in the world with such positions available.

Regards

Constantin Pilipenko

Yes, there are. Glad to be able to help you with that question.

Actually, my former employer, is trying to build a larger SAP group in the consulting branch here in Stavanger (Norway), and they are looking for people such as yourself I believe. Since advertising is not allowed here on SDN it is not possible to outright give you their name, but I can provide some hints.

- known by their three-letter acronym

- started as a typewriter company

- used to sell the best operating system for PC's, dubbed "half an operating system" by 'evil' people

- donated (the bulk of, at least) the framework for Eclipse to the open-source community

Unfortunately the job you mentioned also requies Norwegian language to be fluent and 3-4 years experience. I'll give it a shot anyway.

If there are people advertising these jobs, it' can't hurt to send a target letter of introduction & CV to them. Chances are that if they are advertising multiple positions, there must be a fair bit of work there. There is nothing to lose by doing it.......

p.s. good luck
