How about:

"Comparative system resources required for single row lookups on hashed internal tables vs vs binary searches for single rows in sorted internal tables"

What's interesting here are the time/space issues required for the overhead of the hashed setup, and whether these negate the performance improvement of the hashed lookup (factoring in the time to sort the non-hashed table, of course.)

Hi abbas -

Take your original question and my answer and put them together in one post to the ABAP General forum. Do the same post to the ABAP Performance and Tuning forum.

In this post, ask for help on what SAP transactions and reports you can use for this project - also, ask if anyone has any custom code they can share with you.

I'm sure you will get a lot of helpful response - be sure to reward answers with points ...
