Hi
The major problem we afre having is to devlop a case study rich enough to extend the students skills. The students from around Australia will submit their dashboard and the justification for its design to a judging panel made up of 2 academics, SAP leads and a BI consultant. The winning team will recieve a prize sponsored by industry and will have the opportunity to present and display their dashboard at a SAP Australian User Group event.
I hope this answers your questions.

Hi
We are in the process of organising a Xcelsius dashboard competition for students in Australia. We are building the scenario at present and recieved strong support from SAP and industry.

Several interesting ideas on possible SAP-related student competitions were suggested during the poster session:
*Developing a business portal site in Enterprise Portal
*Business case competition focused on fraud or white collar crime
*Case competition on other topics
*Student teams develop a white paper or profile of an SAP company in their region (interview company officials, etc.)
*BI project using Xcelsius
*Game to reduce CO2 emissions
*ERPsim
*Lean ERP Customizing based on a case study
*From ERP reporting to interactive BI reporting--reduce paper consumption
*Business objects/business explorer
*Company implementation/cross functional/dept.
*"SAP Playground"--students offer tips or teach other students
