Hi,

I'm currently working on ECC 5.0 and would like to take up SD certification. I would like to seek advice as to which certification should I pursue.

SAP Consultant Certification Solution Consultant Supply Chain Management - Order Fulfillment with mySAP ERP2004

( Software component is ECC 5.0)

or

SAP Consultant Certification Solution Consultant Supply Chain Management - Order Fulfillment with mySAP ERP2005

( Software component is ECC 6.0)

If I'm not working on ECC 5.0 can I be able to take the 6.0 version exam. Is SD in 6.0 different from 5.0.

Please advise if for SD am I choosing the right path.

Regards

Rasheed

Hello Rasheed,

It is good to take certification on ECC 6.0 (ERP2005). Certification on latest version always adds value to your profile. And also it is not so difficult to write certification on ECC 6.0 if you have worked on ECCC 5.0.

Please reward points if it is helpful.

Thanks

Ram

Hi Friend,

With every new version there will always be some new functionality added in the system. And hence things will be different little bit. However it will never be so different which will create a big gap in form of your knowledge to sit in certification.

What I feel if you know 4.7, You will have no issue to clear 6.0 version and here you are already having experience of 5.0, which is ofcource enough.
