I'm appearing for SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement certification exam shortly - https://training.sap.com/certification/c_ts450_1709-sap-certified-application-associate---sap-s4hana....
I'd like to know what is the scoring system for the same. Do they have negative markings?
The above link says 62% is the passing marks but nothing is mentioned about negative marks.
Any information regarding this subject is appreciated.
Thanks !

Hi Rahul, We use dichotomous scoring - there are no negative marks.

4 Evaluation of Exam Performance
Exercises and examinations consist of multiple-choice tasks (with one correct answer) and multiple-answer tasks (more than one correct solution). There is a clearly defined number of points for every task that can be earned with the correct solution.
With multiple-answer tasks, the number of points achieved for a partially correct solution is calculated in the following way: The maximum number of points is divided by the number of correct alternatives, and this value is used as the basis. For every correct alternative that has been selected, the base value will be given. For every false alternative, the base value will be subtracted. If the total result is negative, then 0 points are given. For example, a maximum of 3 points is possible for one task. Three out of five answers are correct. The course participant has marked two correct and one false. For both of the correct answers he or she receives one point each (3 divided by 3), for the false answer one point is subtracted. He or she therefore receives one point for the task.
Guiding principle for answering multiple-answer questions: We recommend that you avoid guessing answers and only select the answers that you are positive about. For example, if a question states that 3 options are correct and you are only sure about 2, then only select these 2 options. This will help you avoid losing points as choosing incorrect answers will result in points being deducted from your overall score.
