sap versions since sap started

Hello everyone,

i am a recently certified functional consultant in materials mgmt. out of academic curiosity i just wanted to know what are the different versions that sap came out with since its inception. i am aware of just a few such as r/2, r/3, 4.0b,4.6c,4.7,ecc5.0,ecc6.0.

however i wanted to know in a chronological order what were the sap versions since sap started ???

Versions are mentioned in chronological order:
