Hello Folks,
I intend to sit for SAP SD certification exam shortly. Can anyone please answer the following queries :
1.) I came to know that SAP has phased out certifications on ECC 6.0 versions in December 2010. They are now providing certification in BS7
(EHP4/EHP5) version. What is the difference between the two and does it mean questions asked in the exam will be different ?
2.) What is the Pass Percentage in the SD certification exam now ?
3.) Are questions asked in Associate & Professional Level Certifications are different and more tough at Professional Level ?
4.) In some questions, multiple choices are given where more than one choices are correct. If one gives one correct choice and misses out
the other correct choice, then how the marks are awarded for that question ?
5.) What types of questions are mostly asked in the exam - configuration, scenarios or concept ?
6.) Any Study materials or books, one needs to refer for the preparation for the exam ?
Your replies to my queries will be highly appreciated .
Thanks in advance

Hi Sourav,
Here are the answers to your queries:
What is the difference between the two and does it mean questions asked in the exam will be different ?
You can find the overview of the exam topics here

Professional:

2.) What is the Pass Percentage in the SD certification exam now ?
This varies between different versions of the exam but your proctor will have that information and it is available to you in the intro screen before you take the test.
3.) Are questions asked in Associate & Professional Level Certifications are different and more tough at Professional Level ?
You should only go for Professional level exams if you have at least about 4 years of project experience with SD. The questions are written to validate real life experience, analytical and high level problem solving skills as well as broader integration experience. The Associate level questions are targeted at individuals with training and initial project experience and there are more knowledge-based questions than at Professional level.
4.) In some questions, multiple choices are given where more than one choices are correct. If one gives one correct choice and misses out
the other correct choice, then how the marks are awarded for that question ?
There is no partial scoring. Either the question is correct or incorrect ( if one of the responses is wrong) where then no points are given
5.) What types of questions are mostly asked in the exam - configuration, scenarios or concept ?
That depends on the exams – please consult the web shop links above for more information
6.) Any Study materials or books, one needs to refer for the preparation for the exam ?
These can also be found under the above links
Hope this helps and the very best of luck with your exams,
Regards,
Joey
