sap certification PLASTIC card and oss id

Hello There,

i got certified as a MM solution consultant in feb and i have recd my certificate. i would like to know 2 things.

1) when will i get my SAP solution consultant blue coloured plastic card from sap ??? is this card sent from germany or is it sent from the local sap office ????

2) i heard something about an OSS id but i am not sure i understand it properly. what is it and how can i get it and what is its use to me ????

Hi Ajit,

Congrats on getting certified.

1)You will receive the card with in 2 months time to the SAP authorized training center. I heard that you get this from SAP, Bangalore.

2) You receive OSS ID too after completing your certification. In case you have not received yet contact SAP, Bangalore. You take the email ID of concerned person from training center or call directly SAP, Bangalore office. OSS stands for Online Support System, an official support site of SAP. This is a repository of all patch information, solutions to issues, bugs etc. They are classified as notes, and issues are searchable using keywords for solutions. These OSS notes suggest solutions to fix issues. You need to have this OSS ID to access the site.

HAVE YOU RECEIVED YOUR OSS ID. IF NOT AFTER YOU GET YOUR CERTIFICATE TO HAND. PL. GO TO www.service.sap.com and register yourselves there.
