Dear Expert,
If anyone complete SAP Certification form SAP Customer (Employee of that Company), How many days will it be valid?
Is that Certification is Valid for Globally?
Is that SAP Marketplace (www.service.sap.com) ID and PW is Valid for life long?
If its not valid for life long then what will be the next step?
Thanks & Regards,
Ananda

Hi Ananda,
If you are doing certification as an employee of that company, then the S ID might have been created by the basis team of that company. In that case if you are moving out of that company, there is every chance that your ID might be deleted. You can no longer use that ID.
If you have done your certification as independent person, then SAP usually would create the S ID, which is valid for life time, you can use that.
SAP Certification is a global certification program, which is valid across the globe.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Kind Regards,
Ravi

Hi Ravi,
Thanks for your reply.
Actually what is the use of S ID?
Is it related with Certification ? As per Your statement Certification is invalid without S ID, right?
If anyone done his Certification as an employee, after moving out of that company what will be Exact Scenario?
Is there any way to recover S ID after deletion form Company Database? (Any Possibilities)
Thanks & Regards,
Ananda
Hi Ananda,
S ID is normally used to access Service Market Place.
Yes. It is related with your Certification and it will be mentioned on your Certification.
Even if the S ID is deleted, your Certification is still valid for life time.
If the S ID is created by your company, usually, it would be deleted, if you move out of the company.
If the S ID is created by SAP for you, then it would used by you for life time.
If the S ID is deleted by your company, you cannot access Service Market Place using that ID. However, if you have any other ID you can still access SMP. There is nothing to do with your Certification. You certification is still valid as stated above.
Kind Regards,
Ravi
