Problem in Exercise 104 of the BPI Course

I have a student that gets this error when doing Exercise 104. "Account determination for entry C014 WRX G014 ___ 3100 not possible". I have checked that the GL accounts exist and looked at trans code OMWD--everything there looks good. Not sure how to diagnose this one. Any help would be appreciated.

Don: I know this is ancient history, but I just bumped into the same problem, so in case it happens again, here's how I solved it.

The solution first lead me back to Exercise 94 "Change View "Account Determination for Val. for Val Areas": Overview". There I found that I did not enter my value for value grouping code: it should be G_ _ _ .

Having fixed that, I got yet another error message: "Acct. 201_ _ _ for trans./event key BSX, postable directly".

This lead to Exercise 96, first iteration, where you work on BSX, which in turn caused me to go back to Exercises 43-44 where accounts 201_ _ _ and 203_ _ _. On the "Create/bank/interest" tab, be sure that "Post Automatically Only" is selected.

You've probably long since fixed this, but I just uncovered this myself and though I'd share my several hours of frustration in tracking this down. Maybe someone else will benefit.
