Hi Friends,
I work in an MNC on SAP support on MM and need to go beyond just being a support executive. Dear all can u just guide me what should I study so as to go on to a successful career in future.
My basic question will be that while on MM support how many days should i stay here? as i have been here for past 4 months.
Next that I want to know whether i shd go on for MM certification or shd I go directly for SRM certification.
Can any one just send me some detailed docs so as i can follow the same path, just like that u tell me that" one shd learn Tables Using tcode mm17" .
Please send me docs on MM and on SRM on deeepakandhale@gmail.com
point as rewards to say thanks guranteed.

Adding onto what Sheryar..I would advice you to weight the knowledge gained via experience to SAP Certification. Basically, to evaluate how much importance the market gives to SAP Certification as compared to experience/knowledge ?. The best option I feel is to continue in your role and enhance your abilities in the particular module and make yourself compatibile to the requirement of SAP Certified Consultant. Please check the last link as to ciricullum for MM certification..that can give you good idea !!
Hope the above advice helps...Best of luck !!

Hi,
Glad to know that you'd like to develop yourself into a consultant level role. Being an MM support consultant, the recommendation would be to learn about the ins and outs of this module as much as you can before taking the certification exam. Moreover, you also need to understand how MM integrated with SD, FI , etc.
SRM is an addon that works on top of existing MM functionality so the first step should be to certify in MM. But I believe you will need between 10-15 months of solid handson support+configuration experience before you should try to certify. Alternatively, if you can manage it, attend SAP academy for 5 weeks and appear in the exam.
Hope this helps.
Regards
