Hi,
I have a question from all the SAP Basis certified consultants, how many hours of study we require per day for passing the exam and how many times we need to go through the manuals. Please feel free to proivde tips of study which could be helpfull.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi
I have cleared the examination on 13th Jan 2009. Let me tell you few things
- No need to study books other than provided by SAP ( TADM10,TADM12 and TADM51)
- Read All three books thoroughly at least three times. Make small notes of difficult topics.
- Read each and every word of three books except Appendix from the certification point of view
- There are 90 questions divided into 23-24 main titles covering all topics of Manuals
- There is no negative marking
- Passing is 72 percent
Let me know if you have some other doubts.

Dear Jawad,
It varies person to person. One may require more time to read the same thing as compared to other. Main thing is that you should go through the manuals thrice at least, that too thoroughly.
Should concentrate more on Java Part ( SLD, Solution Manager, Congig Tool, Visual administrator etc.)

Dear Jawad,
I am certified Basis Admin (C_TADM50_04), and it took me two month fulltime studies.
This exam is impossible to pass without practical experience, so read to TADM10/12 plus 50 or 51 once, but do all exercises. Do them again. And again.
A week before the examination, I read the handbooks again, trying to memorize the dirty little details...: PASSED !
Regards,
Klaus
