Hi Divya,

Hi Divya,
Welcome to SDN and also SAP. You have to post your queries in ABAP DEVELPOMENT area not here in the coffee corner divya.
I would first suggest you to go through SAM's ABAP in 21 days book.
I am sending an online link for the same.

notes is nothing but hte documentation you find and the F1 help.
You will find the documentation using the following path.
GoTo -> Documentation (drop down menu)
and also do an F1 on each and everything. It will help you to familiarze with the terms.
First go through SAMS book, even i did the same when i started. the book is a little outdated now because it does not contain ABAP OBJECTS, but it is the best book for a beginner.
For writing a program in SAP ABAP, check the examples ..
you can find the in the folowing path,
Environment -> Examples -> ABAP Examples.
and when ever you get stuck somewhere, just search or post the quesy here in SDN. Post in ABAP GENERAL.
SDN is a very helpful site for learning purpose and finding solutions from the experts in SAP. You have come to the right place.
You can start you learning, ABAP is easy.
Happy learning,
Regards,
Jose
