Master level certifcation

Anyone know when the Master level certifications will be announced?

Are they really "in development" ... or have they been the victim of cutbacks in response to the recession?

Also, will any of the Professional level certifications be prerequisites or can you apply directly for the Master level?

At this point, your question cannot be answered as the program hasn't been defined to that level as of yet. My gut tells me the professional exams will not be prereqs but I'm not sure (and please don't take my word for it yet).

The master certifications are indeed under development so plan for some type of news in 2010. BTW - Sue Martin, the manager of SAP's global certification program, will be available at the TechEd Phoenix event. Stop by the Education pod for a discussion on the topic.

Do you know if any of the Professional certifications are a prerequisite for the Master certification.

If so, I was thinking to do the related Professional certifications while I am waiting (if I can identify what they are).

Else, I may do some Professional certifications outside my core skill area.

The only change I have noticed in the above is that they have deleted the list of upcoming certifications.
