Hello,
i'm trying to install IDES ERP 6.0 incl. EHP7 on HANA on our P8 Linux Server.
At the Import ABAP stage i get failed imports like:
(DB) INFO: ENHCROSSINXSPOT created #20160922141925
(IMP) INFO: finished create for object "ENHCROSSINXSPOT" of type "table" in 0 sec #20160922141925

It looks as if all tables with some kind of LOB content fail.
Trying to load the tables directly with R3load also fail.
i've tried the install with K_742_U_LINUX_PPC64 (51049724_4), K_745_U_LINUX_PPC64 (51050554_4) as well with a modified SAPEXEDB.SAR with R3ldctl_214-80001037.SAR and R3load_213-80001037.SAR (note 1826587).
Do you have any hints how i could install IDES on our Power8 SUSE linux machine?
Might be there is some setting on the HANA instance missing?

Rudolf Zimmer.

Hello Rudolf,
Just for starters could you answer/do the following:
1. What revision of HANA did you install.
2. How much memory do you have on the LPAR ?
3. Could you attach the indexserver trace file please.
could you move this thread over to the SAP HANA and In-Memory Computing space please.
Kind Regards,
Amerjit

Hello,
The upload (attach) becomes visible when you select "Use advanced editor".
28MB will be too big. Max size limit is 1MB.
1. Save the last 500 lines of the indexserver trace file to a new text file and put that file in the zip
2. Add the import_monitor.log file to the zip.
From the import_monitor.log file we'll determine what package failed and from there you can look in that package log file.
nb: before you try to upload the .zip file, please rename it to .zip.txt and then upload it. I think you can't upload .zip files directly.
KR,
A.
